living in hipsterville, usa means bike polo out the wazoo. so last night mr. dtf and i went exploring to the known spots where portland polo players meet up to play throughout the week. unfortunately, we didn't see any bike polo players while we were there, but we did have some fun playing at the park.
on the way home mr. dtf spotted a bike polo man on the road in front of us {he had some special doodad on his wheels called a wheel blocker which clued us in} so naturally we drove nice and slow, rolled the window down, and asked him if he played and if he wouldn't mind talking to us for a minute. he gladly obliged and that is how we were introduced to reverend phil. yeah, that's how he introduced himself ha. then he told mr. dtf all about portland polo and how intense it is and mr. dtf was giddy the whole drive home. i'll have to take LOTS of pictures when we finally meet that crowd. it's sure to be... um... interesting.
love,
mrs. dtf
